on november 5th, i am thankful for:
- big brothers big sisters for taking us out to met life stadium (home of both the giants and the jets? football people, explain this?) where we got to play two-hand-touch on the field and meet players and have a grand old time.
- parks and rec. we’ve been watching from the beginning over the past couple weeks, and i honestly don’t know of anything else on tv that makes me laugh out loud like that little show.
- a husband who loves impromptu date night (we went to colonie. it was so good. get the brussels sprouts and then be prepared to love me forever. also i am having some thoughts about vegetarianism.) and who then, at 10pm when i am baking a cake, will run to the store to get cream cheese for me. he is the best.
- rachel, an old nyu friend i had not seen in over 8 years, who just so happened to our waitress (and who gave us our most delicious wedding gift on the house—the aforementioned brussels and a dinner wine pairing. bless.)
